Kate’s Subaru WR1

Posted on Monday, 12th April 2010 in - Subaru, Example Work

I had Kate’s Scooby WR1 in today and what a stunning car this is when it’s clean!

Kates has horse’s you see so all the trips to the stables takes it’s toll on the car, I did the interior first for a change just because it appeared to probably require more work than the exteror all that Hay and sand seemed to get everywhere.

Interior Cleaning

Posted on Monday, 12th April 2010 in - Something a bit different, Example Work

I was asked by the new owner of this car ‘see what you can do to improve it’. He wasn’t expecting miracles he just would like it clean after the previous owner used the vehicle to transport his dogs around.

Yet Another Subaru…

Posted on Monday, 12th April 2010 in - Subaru, Example Work

Before…

Whatever the owner used on this car, it couldn’t cut through the brake dust on the wheels…

The owner of this car has a white dog!

During…

It was clayed (took 2 hours) and some panels had a large amount of contaminants. The doors and the sills were especially bad, and others (Boot) were clean. I have since been told that the boot is from a WRX and Sprayed by Cupra Jake. No shade difference at all I was very impressed.

This car is a credit to it’s owner I loved all the little subtle mods. See if you can spot them!

Mini Cooper

Posted on Monday, 22nd March 2010 in - Mini, Example Work

One service that I have started to do is the 2-3 hour service which is mainly for cars that don’t need a massive amount of correction and a generaly tidy.

This car was treated to a Bilberry wheel wash, snow foam but with added Autoglym TFR Diluted at 20-1 and some Meguiars De-Greaser.

It was then washed the Two bucket method and then waxed with a product called Aqua Wax which can be applied while the car is still wet and gives it a protective coating of wax. One Microfibre cloth is applied after the Aqua Wax spray to dry the panel and then another M/F is used to buff up the panel. The tyres were dressed with Megs Endurance Tyre Gel.

The carpets where shampoo’d and vaccummed. The interior was cleaned with various M/F cloths and towels.

This car belongs to a friend who only bought it a couple of weeks ago. It needed detailing and a general tidy up inside and out.

A stunning car in my opinion and something that I would be very proud of if it was sat in my garage.

Nissan Navara

Posted on Friday, 19th March 2010 in - Nissan, Example Work

This customer has put the car up for sale and wanted to maximise its resale value. I under estimated how long this would take, thinking it would be rattled off in 5 hours but ended up taking 8.
