The customer’s request was to smarten up this Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 V6 Q2 as he was planning on selling the vehicle and wanted to maximise its resale value.

Before…
The customer brought the car down a couple of days earlier so I could see the car and talk about what we could acheive. There were some minor scratches all over the car but generally it looked in good condition as we viewed it outside in the failing light as it started to rain.

During…
The usual procedure was followed working on the wheels first Bilberry Juice was applied before working with a wheel brush.

The car was then snow foamed…

…before being washed the two bucket method.

It was then snow foamed again and an intial inspection revealed these marks in the paint above one of the light clusters, the customer said they had been on the paintwork since he had bought the car.

After working a bit of magic with some different combinations of polish I managed to get it looking like this:

The rest of the car was then clayed to remove bonded on surface contaminents.

The whole car was then polished with one coat of Super Resin Polish, one coat of Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze before topping it off with a Colonite 915 wax. The final result was the marks had disappeared completely.

The final result…

When the customer returned to pick up his car he was so stunned at the results he decided to put off selling the car for now as he had just fallen back in love with it!
